![]() Now I did buy it and I'm happy to say it's been fun so far, I like the way I can ''claim'' a patient and treat him myself, that has been a learnful experience, especially since the game has a description for everything, which is amazing. As it sounds pretty fun to learn about all this stuff while also enjoying a game. I was more wondering about how well this game would teach me about hospitals, diseases and ways of treatment. But I should have specified more, I'm only 19 and have pretty much never been to the hospital outside from one trip to the neurologist. ![]() Im just glad we don't have bloated heads and slack tonguesīut it's still a game :) From my point of view Project Hospital is the most realistic game of it's kind and I have a lot of fun playing it (as a medical professional) :) Thanks for pointing that out :). I think PH devs have struck a nice balance between realism and fun/gameplay/replayability.ġ00% realistic would be fun for maybe an hour then would just get really tedious imo ![]() Ofc they could just point, or ofc you could just hire an interpreterīut theres a point where realism stops being fun and starts being tedious, and while realistic irl becomes unrealistic in gameplay/entertainment wise :p they can't speak the same language as you so they can't tell you where the pain is etc it's for balance and gameplay reasons Sounds like you're talking about patients with the hashtag trait. They can't tell you where it's located, so you have to do X-Ray examinations of the whole body to rule out they have a scoliosis (for example) - also not realistic.īut it's still a game :) From my point of view Project Hospital is the most realistic game of it's kind and I have a lot of fun playing it (as a medical professional) :) Nothing elese - only one finding missing. Avoid hiring staff with negative perks 8. Money comes from treatments, not examinations 6. Build the bare minimum for Radiology and Medical Laboratories first 5. Leave room between clinics for expansion 3. Sometimes patients show up and have "pain". Build extra Emergency Department Doctor’s Offices 2. As you can see at the internal medicine department, these things are getting better - they don't perform surgery no more (as they don't in the real life). Neurologists are treating eye diseases and perform brain surgery themselves. General surgeons treat complicated nephrological diseases and perform dialysis. One thing that is really annoying me sometimes, is that several medical fields of specialization are merged into the existing five departments. Escrito originalmente por Humppamonster M.D.:As I'm a doctor (neurologist) myself, I could write a LOT that is not realistic within Project Hospital.
